My Sweet Baby Janey is 1

What a GREAT year! I'm just sad it is over already.

We are all having SO much fun with her.

She turns a bad day to a good one with just a simple smile.

You can't help but be happy when she is around.

Babies are a WONDERFUL blessing.

We had a ladybug party.

The cake (with lots of chocolate chips...her favorite!)

The Before picture... The After picture... yes, the cake is still in one piece but

notice all the chocolate chips missing...

We had cupcakes, chocolate dipped pretzels,

ladybug peanut butter balls

and 300 mini sandwiches.

I'm grateful for an excuse to have a party. The cupcake picks..homemade by the Laci and I.

We had a cupcake walk, face painting and guessing jars.

So much fun! It takes me back in time.

Dad had more cake on his face than Janey.

(thanks to mom for helping him. Babe, your a good sport).

Laci's 1st day of 1st grade, where did my baby go?

Laci started school last week, I'm losing all my helpers.

Janey has been spoiled all summer by the girls holding, playing, kissing and taking care of her.

Napping was going to be the top priority, but...unfortunately

I was the only one who didn't ever catch any ZZZZ's.

Yes folks, this is Grandpa Summers painting Cerese's finger nails.

Wait...I thought we were going swimming.

We decided to load friends up and head to the Drive-in Movie.

It was just like I remembered, we had a great time.

We saw Toy Story 3, Prince of Persia and the best show

was actually the meteor shower going on in the sky-biggest one of the year.

My girls, I'm so blessed. I got the 5 day stomach flu and felt terrible.

The girls took care of Janey, changed diapers,

played, entertained and walked around with her all day.
I really could not have done it without them.

Hudson & I

I love this boy. I get to wake up to this face and giggle

all day long at the things he comes up with.

Laci picked out this outfit, and 5 others that morning.
Laci holds her for about 3 hours a day.
The main fighting that goes on is about who gets to hold her
and how long they got to hold her for.
I hope this never gets old.

Grandpa was there for the whole thing.
He still gets excited even though this is grand baby # 17!

She's got the wave, mohawk, scare hair thing going on.

I love her hair, I wanted another baby with tons of hair.

I guess all that heartburn was worth it.

I forgot how much fun it is having a new baby around.

I just stare at her and smile. I love hearing all the newborn sounds they make

and when she smiles in her sleep and looks at me with her

beautiful bright eyes. Babies are a wonderful blessing and miracle.

I feel so grateful to be a mother.
